Back to Berea

I went to my childhood hometown this past weekend for my mom's retirement party. I had a bit of free time and I was able to get some great pictures at Coe Lake in Berea, Ohio. A long time ago it was used as a quarry for gathering limestones used to create the Grindstone that Berea is famous for. As a teenager, I just spent time there jumping from cliffs, riding my brother's dirt bike off the cliffs into the water below, swimming in the lake, avoiding water snakes and just causing general mischief. Since those times, the city has changed the area a lot. No real paths existed when I was young and there were no bridges. It's still a beautiful area, none the less.

These are my favorites.
