My Town Friday Shoot Out: Aged & Weathered

This week's theme for MTFSO was chosen by Pauline. Be sure to visit her blog. I can't wait to see what she photographed! This theme could lead to so many things...or people ;)

I started this week's theme with photos of barns. Like last week's photos, these were taken on the same trip to Armada last week. I thought I'd find more interesting barns, and get lots of shots, but I found a better opportunity instead. Here are my "best of" for this week's theme; Aged & Weathered.

Nothing makes a better photo than an old barn. Love your choices. I especially like the barn with the silo.

Nice graveyard photo, too. We did a graveyard shoot out months ago. It was fun. Maybe we can do another one next year. You certainly have the material.

Have a great weekend.

Barns and old buildings are my favorite subject. You have some great pictures. My favorite is the third photo with the aged and weathered red barn and the last photo of the fence. Your graveyard shots are nice too.

I almost did a graveyard for my post. Thanks for taking up the slack. Wonder what violence to a chunk out of the one stone. I don't think weater could have done it unless it was a falling tree or pole. Thanks for participating.

You were in aged and weathered heaven with those barns, weren't you? They are terrific. I couldn't resist the graveyard, either. The hardest part was deciding which of the many shots to use. Loved yours!

I love the barn with the silo. Old graveyards are neat, I think.

I love old barns - the one with the faded red is really great. all the shots are interesting but the faded red barn speaks to me.

Your aged and weathered photos were so touching. For some grave markers, it does not matter how old and worn away they are, relatives come and leave new remembrances and you marvel at their sense of family history. Brilliant shoot, thank you!
