I absolutely LOVE to go to the Farmers Market. There is a great one in Mt. Clemens, MI that I use. I spend at least an hour there every Saturday morning that I can. Sometimes I buy just a few things, other times I load up on everything that looks good. I'm a "part time vegetarian" (if there is such a thing) so I love to see what there is and explore the veggies I haven't tried before.
These pictures were take this past Saturday.

I love farmer's markets. I've never before seen purple and yellow bell peppers. I've seen purple cauliflour but never on a bell pepper. Is it a new product and how is the taste in comparison to the other colors? The price on the bell peppers.....unbelievable. It's nice to know that somewhere in this country you can still get good prices on produce.
Okra. I am crazy about Okra. We don't have fresh okra in our grocery stores here and I don't believe I've seen it at our piddly little farmers market. Those looked like pretty big okra.
Your photos are magnificent.
JarieLyn ~ The purple peppers are newer to this area (MI) in the last couple of years. The white peppers are sweeter than the green and the purple fall in between. And yes, the prices are AMAZING!
I'm not a Okra fan, but I hear these are really great.
Thank you for the comments ♥
